Bamboo charcoal, which the Japanese call "Takesumi", is a centuries-old product made by heating bamboo under high heat. Once carbonized, it can absorb odors, oil, dirt, chlorine and other impurities. This lovely glycerin soap uses bamboo charcoal to gently clean and purify your face and body. With regular use it will improve acne, oily, and very dry skin by clarifying and purifying the pores.

The warm, charcoal-gray colored lather is rich and creamy but not super foamy, and rinses completely clear just like any other soap.

For best results:
For daily use on face or body. Wet the soap and lather into hands, facial brush, or bath towel. Apply gently to face in circular motion. Rinse well with clear warm water.
